Inspired by the pioneers who seamlessly blended shoegaze with early nu metal, Deftones. Abe Cunningham's unique style and sound has inspired drummers and producers all around the world. In this pack, we lean into the DNA of Deftones' Around The Fur drum sound.
With a cranked snare, backed up by a low boomy kick, this pack is perfect for those seeking the much revered 90s nu metal sound. To allow maximum personalisation, we have given you all the samples to blend to your taste, instead of sub-mixing multiple microphones to a single sample!
Nevermind
This pack is inspired by Nirvana’s game-changing second album— a moment in music history where grunge’s raw intensity collided with the slick, polished production of the '90s. Built for power, punch, and crystal-clear impact, these stadium-shaking drums are designed to cut through even the heaviest guitar walls. Get ready to unleash pure, unfiltered energy.
We've carefully recreated the signature reverbs used by Andy Wallace, who mixed the Nevermind album. The Lexicon 480L and Lexicon PCM90 reverbs are emulated on dedicated faders, along with an additional white noise layer in the snare reverb— just as Andy used in his mixes. These are labelled Short and Long Verb.
When The Levee Breaks
The iconic drum sound of Led Zeppelin’s When the Levee Breaks is one of the most legendary in rock history—massive, raw, and drenched in natural ambience. This sample pack is a tribute to that unmistakable, room-filling tone.
With these drum samples we’ve faithfully recreated the original sound using a 1970s Green Sparkle kit paired with Bonham’s revered Ludwig Supraphonic LM402 snare. The high room mic setup was meticulously replicated to capture the powerful, natural reverb that defined the track. We’ve also emulated the classic tape delay famously used by engineer Andy Johns, bringing even more authenticity to the sound.
We’ve meticulously captured the legendary sound of When The Levee Breaks in what we call Traditional Bonham - a faithful tribute to the classic, thunderous style that defined a generation.
But we didn’t stop there.
Introducing Modern Bonham - the same explosive energy, reimagined for today’s productions with lower drum tunings.
Songs For The Deaf
Inspired by the legendary sounds of one of the most iconic bands in rock, Queens Of The Stone Age. For this set of boomy and aggressive samples, we pay homage to Dave Grohl's drum sound on the seminal QOTSA record 'Songs For The Deaf'.
Recorded in a small booth with plenty of dampening, these samples thrive in the high velocities.
El Camino
Inspired by the raw, gritty, and powerful drum sound of The Black Keys, delivering a mix of vintage blues-rock punch and modern garage energy. Known for its minimalist setup and heavy-hitting style, the samples feature a deep, booming kick, a dry and low snare, with dark, resonant cymbals. The sound is both soulful and unapologetically bold, capturing the essence of classic rock while pushing boundaries with a modern edge.
De-Loused In The Comatorium
Inspired by the chaotic energy captured on The Mars Volta's stunning debut record. A raw and organic drum sound with the presence to accommodate dynamically expressive playing. The perfect blend of vintage drums and modern production.
Subliminal Verses
Inspired by the legendary and blistering drum sound of early 2000s metal. With punch and clarity, this pack brings the presence required for your drums to cut through walls of heavy guitars and aggressive vocals.
Dookie

An excellently recorded kit which perfectly recreates Jordison's "...Verses" era. But even if you're not looking for that, this kit is punchy and perfectly balanced for all types of music pop, rock etc. And the presets are great, providing tight, dry and roomy kits. I'm definitely gonna put these to good use.

TERRIBLE!!!!
Nothing is mapped correctly in your software. I have EZ Drummer 3, Addictive Drums 2, BFD3.5, ML Drums, MixWave, etc...none of these have been an issue. I have emailed your customer support and have exhausted all options. It does not map correctly with my Roland kit. Only the snare and bass drum will play somewhat consistently. All I am asking for at this point is a refund. I cannot use the software. Can someone in a managerial position please get in touch with me?
